Aug. 5th, 2021 11:29 amTwilight has descended upon Hyrule, however, there are no dark interlopers or souls that cry out in fear. The kingdom is safe from any threats of darkness from a world that was once bound to it by the will of the gods, and she finds herself at peace knowing that the evil that once plagued these lands has been defeated.
Light has returned to the realm of Hyrule; the darkness driven out.
Her coronation soon approaches, a day in which she will no longer be princess but will become queen. Before, back when the usurper, Zant, had come and posed her an ultimatum - surrender or die - she had done what she felt was right to save the lives of her people and to prevent anymore blood being spilled. Such decisions are not unknown to her, but she knows she will have more of a burden upon her shoulders than before.
The thought of these added responsibilities have certainly made her feel overwhelmed; however, Zelda knows she is up for the task. As such, she also knows that, while the main threat to this kingdom has been dealt with, the fallout of those who supported the darkness are none too keen about simply turning tail and surrendering. She understands the kind of influence the King of Evil once had - even those of whom had been turned unwillingly and can no longer distinguish their old lives from what they are now - and the consequences they bring.
"Alucard," she calls out to the darkness of her room, a bedchamber tucked away in one of the turrets of the castle, overlooking most of Lanayru's Province.
Zelda knows he is there, she can feel him lurking in the shadows.
